When it comes time for you to have a website online - you will need a host. Of course there are options where you can get someone to do the hosting for you, but I personally prefer doing it myself First off, when you get a package where "they" host it for you; it's going in the price of the package anyway so you may as well just pay for it yourself and be able to have control over it entirely which is my second point.

When you let someone else host your site you have absolutely no control over it. Sometimes can become a little more expensive than we would like which is why you should start looking for cheap web hosting! When it comes to "cheap" stuff on the Internet it's usually never cheap in quality; only price.


In fact, the Internet is where most people go for just about anything they buy because it's very affordable and you get exactly what you want! Now you definitely will need if you have a site online - unless as said before you get someone to do it for you. It's really not that confusing when it comes to figuring out the CPANEL and all that good stuff. And if you find a site

you can trust and that you like, then please make sure they have good support!

When you find the site you want to work with be sure to take a look at a few of the packages they have. There will be different options and price ranges for whatever you want. For instance, a small account with very little space, 1 email address and very little bandwidth will always be cheaper than a package with a lot of space 5 email addresses and a lot of bandwidth! It depends on what you need! When I first started out I got the smallest package available which was just under $6.

But eventually I started building more and more sites and needed more and more hosting options so I went to level three and I'm still only paying $9. It's not a huge amount of money guys! Also, if you want to, make sure the site you go with has everything. Why? because it's always easier to shop at one site than 5.

You can find sites available out there that have web hosting, domain names, web design tools and more! Try the self-serve option and if you don't like it - no problem. And if you do, then maybe you will end up upgrading just like I did!
